Folded Shawl Honeycomb Aran in Merino

The high folded shawl is my seasons take on staying cosy while zooming or walking.

Merino wool has wonderful thermal qualities and warms the senses as well as the bones.

The moss filled diamonds or fields, a strong honeycomb centre for the hard working and the Donegal link cables, linking the Irish diaspora. 

Knitting this sweater is a conversation with the past and a joy for us Donegal knitters to make.

Shown here in Donegal dyed and spun pure merino wool.

The silhouette is roomy but the merino makes it lighter and a little neater that regular wool.

The style has a set-in wider sleeve.

Is it his or hers? Definitely both.
