#MADELOCAL #BUYDONEGAL
The Rita was inspired by a knitting friend who brought patterns asking if I thought they would work as a casual coatigan style. It was difficult to find a contemporary version.
I decided it would be faster to make up a new jacket pattern. Rita knit a beautiful rich pink tweed one and I was inspired to add the design to the collection as a knitting pattern. The plan is to expand on these successful size versions.
For now I am happy to advise on stitch adjustments.
The pattern is written (no graphs) and piece knit, separate back and fronts.
The pockets are option and maybe be adjusted, we now knit them TWO half diamonds tall to better accommodate a phone.
