I am passionate about the revival of Aran knitting and I created this design first as a modern silhouette.

This 100% pure new wool aran has a high Irish fleece content (60%)

These stitch designs connect family and love in many ways. The zig zag lines represent the ups and downs of our lives

The knitted tree design was considered to be symbolic of a long productive life. 

Aran is often referred to as cable-knit. The cabling serves a purpose beyond the aesthetic, it makes the fabric stronger and the shape hold firm. In the original Aran designs developed as workwear it made them more water resistant.
