After Care

To look after your Edel Mac Bride purchase we recommend the following:

Wools, wool blends, cottons and all children’s

Option 1: Turn the garment outside in and for extra TLC place in a pillowcase (not essential).  Then wash the garment in a hand wash or wool wash cycle in your washing machine.  Do not tumble dry.  Dry flat or carefully placed near heat but not too close. i.e. ok to place near a radiator over the back of a chair.
Option 2: Hand wash in luke warm water using a specific wool care product. Tip: if no care products to hand use some hair shampoo, again dry flat as with option 1.



Beaded and embroidered garments

Use option 2 only

Dry Cleaning

Dry cleaning with a recommended agency is an option with all our collections.  It is best to remove all handmade ceramic buttons before cleaning or to cover them for protection
